Sales Executive Job Responsibilities:

Supporting the Sales and Marketing department by; relationship building, updating the internal CRM along with selling the products and service of Smart Apprentices by calling prospects to generate demonstrations and appointments for the Business Development Managers.

Smart Apprentices has created this new role to support our fast-growing e-portfolio technology Smart Assessor along with Smart Apprentices new and young products. The role will work closely with the new business department, to assist with lead generation

The Sales consultant role is to support the Business Development Managers to identify and create opportunities, undertake outbound calling and work towards KPI’s.

Sales Executive Skills and Qualifications:

Excellent communication and listening skills, lots of initiative and self-motivation, skills in negotiation and influencing as well as the ability to think on your feet. Understanding the pricing and planning and to have confidence with a charming and persuasive personality, to enjoy the buzz of working under pressure and meeting tough targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify key decision makers
  • Arrange Demos and follow up appointments
  • Researching the market and related technology products
  • Engage with prospects and clients to create a working relationship
  • Making outbound calls to existing clients and prospects
  • Updating the internal CRM System (Salesforce)
  • Maintain strong relationships with prospects and staff across all levels of the business, to deliver accurate reporting and maintain optimum levels of customer service.
  • Supporting the Marketing department with Administrative duties

Education and Experience

  • Previous experience in sales
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate in both verbal and written communication
  • Basic understanding of information technology and business concepts in e-portfolio technologies
  • Familiarity with general business functions within apprenticeship sector
  • Problem solving and strong communication skills

  • Salary: £20,000.00 per annum plus quarterly bonus
  • Working Hours: 37.5 Hours Monday-Friday between 9.00am-5.00pm Location: Rugby
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Holiday: 20 days Holiday plus 8 Bank Holiday
